Recently, ebm-papst (a German fan manufacturer) and Hyting (a German hydrogen heating company) announced their strategic partnership to develop and manufacture hydrogen-fueled heating equipment that generates heat from hydrogen without combustion (according to Hyting's official website, the system catalytically generates heat from a hydrogen-air mixture with hydrogen concentration below 3%, and the heated air can be directly utilized). The product is modular and highly scalable in design, with outputs of 10 kW−300 kW, enabling it to be configured for a wide range of different heating applications, including commercial and residential buildings and heating systems for commercial vehicles. Prototypes are currently undergoing testing, with the first customer trials expected in Germany by the first quarter of 2025. The image below shows Hyting's product.
